All hail Lena Dunham! Back off Howard!

If you're anything like me, you're currently so obsessed and in awe of "Girls" star, Lena Dunham.

I want to start by saying congratulations to Lena on her two Golden Globe nominations and wins! Nothing speaks to me more than a self admitted "awkward" girl going for what she wants and following her passions. She's such an amazing inspiration to girls and guys all over!

Last week however, Howard Stern (America's Got Talent judge and Shock Jock) publicly criticized Lena on his Sirus FM radio show calling her a "fat little girl" and complaining about all the nudity she was in on her show. Personally, I feel Howard is just trying to tear down a rising star to keep his star flying. With all the recent bullying and incidents of shootings being fueled by these types of derogatory comments, Stern should be more aware of his irresponsible jabs.

Lena is such a star though, she appeared on David Letterman to promote season 2 of "Girls" and was quoted as saying that she still was a "huge fan" of Howard Stern's. Although Lena didn't find offense to Howard's criticism, I'm sure that a lot of other people do.

Howard Stern has since apologized saying his comment was "misunderstood" and that he's actually "a fan" of Lena Dunham's!

Either way girl, I've got your back! Keep writing kick ass television! So excited for this season!
