Following the lives of recently graduated high school students/currently enrolled college students, Buckwild is everything country and more. MTV has aired only two episodes currently and already I feel such a draw to the character's and their eccentric, over the top personalities.
We've come to learn that Anna, Katie, Cara, and Shae are no strangers to partying or trouble making. In the pilot, after fighting with a rowdy and obnoxious neighbor for complaints that the girls were "too loud," the girls try their best at hatching a plan to get even with her. They then decided to invite over the other cast members and throw a huge party. (Predictable or not, obviously the neighbor who loves to complain comes over and attempts to make her mind heard.) Safe to say that Anna confronted the woman who was trying her hardest to get into the house. After numerous exchanges of words, the incident ended in Anna being picked up and dragged back into her house. The "Willy Wonka" look alike, according to Katie, then left thinking she had her mind understood by the teens. Which clearly was her biggest mistake. The party ended up getting the girls an eviction notice, which prompted an even better move to the boonies near the boys!
Honestly, the whole new fixation over country living is something that is either understood or hated. I've come to understand that with each new reality show you either have the people who love it or the people who loathe it. My verdict is in, I'm wild for Buckwild!!!
To find out how the first episode ends in a battle over who had sex in who's bed, check Buckwild on MTV Thursday nights at 10/9 Central.
