"I promise to honor the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School. I promise to do everything I can to encourage and support common sense solutions that my community and my country safer from similar acts of violence."

Celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Chelsea Clinton, Tori Spelling, Bella Thorne, and Dr. Phil all have signed the promise. 

Gun violence, as I had posted about in my first life blog, is not 100% stoppable-- but we can do our part to help prevent it as much as possible.

Something needs to be done to change these laws.. and now couldn't be a more important time to do so.
